mum and baby

Middlesbrough Baby and Toddler Fair is a celebration of Mother's with lots of advice, the best products and special goody bags available on the day.

With a photography competition to find the face of the baby fair 2011, why not take the opportunity to purchase a special mother and baby portrait, a lovely gift for Mother's Day.  Our class demonstrations will keep the children entertained while the grown ups browse the stalls, offering the best baby products and services on Teesside.  Face painters and entertainers keep the fun flowing and when you get a bit peckish you can always head to the Galleon Room to sample the buffet.

About Middlesbrough

Middlesbrough, situated on the south bank of the River Tees, is the largest town in the Tees Valley and is almost entirely urbanised.  A highly commercial town whose shops cover more floorspace than the Metro Centre, it also boasts the Middlesbrough Institute of Modern Art. Famous for the Transporter Bridge, the only bridge of it's kind still operating in Britain, and home to Middlesbrough Football Club at the impressive Riverside Stadium, Middlesbrough draws visitors from around the North East.  Any visit to Middlesbrough must include sampling the local delicacy, the Parmo, which comes personally recommended!

In 2006 there were 1,878 babies born in Middlesbrough, 1,528 in Redcar and Cleveland and 2,385 in Stockton on Tees.  It is these parents we hope to attract to our baby fair.

About Marton Hotel & Country Club

Dating back to the early 1900's, the hotel started life as a Victorian House set in it's own private grounds.  It later became The Captain Cook Private Members Club, and is now one of the best known hotels on Teesside, a popular choice for weddings, conferences and functions.

Situated just a few miles from the centre of Middlesbrough with excellent links to the major roads, the hotel boasts 52 en-suite bedrooms, making it the perfect location for our Middlesbrough Baby and Toddler Fair.
